About

Welcome to thecorch.com.
Who is it?
I’m Keith Little. I’m a geek, in my mid-twenties, living with my wife and our ginger cat and dog, in beautiful Cambridge, Ontario. I’m an elementary school teacher, the 1st Vice President of the Waterloo Region Occasional Teachers’ Local, and a Member of the Board of Directors for the Social Planning Council of Cambridge & North Dumfries. I’m also a politics junkie, a history nerd, an irreverent liberal and a human being.
I graduated five years ago with a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Waterloo. I was mostly interested in Canadian politics, international organizations and international law as well as social and military history (specifically the homefront during wartime and resistance movements). I decided to forgo a career which immediately accessed the obscure knowledge I’d acquired about Canadian Prime Ministers (Macdonald was a drunk!) and become an elementary teacher. I graduated with a B.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario the following year and have been teaching ever since.
What is it?
This place is my home on the Internet and a place for me to write about things that interest me. You’ll find a lot of music, movie, and television reviews and previews; a lot of political commentaries about local, provincial, and federal politics; and the occasional article about strange things like Bigfoot or the paranormal because, well, I can’t help myself.
In any case, I’d love to hear your thoughts on anything that I write here. I appreciate your comments and feedback.
If you’d like to get in touch with me, leave a comment, or e-mail me using my first name, the at sign, and thecorch.com.
For something completely different, I also blog at Which Road to Rome.
