About
Welcome to thecorch.com. I’m Keith.
I’m a geek, smack-dab in the middle of my twenties, living with my brilliant wife, our cat, and our dog in Kitchener, Ontario. I graduated a few years ago with a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Waterloo. Then a B.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario. Now I teach Grade 1, and write in my spare time.
This place has been my internet home for the past seven years, and has taken on a number of forms. In its most recent incarnation, it’s a place to offer reviews, previews and commentaries on a number of different topics. It’s a blog. It’s my place on the web. This sounds a bit narcissistic but isn’t that what a blog is, in a way, my place on the web? Nonetheless, I hope my commentaries are insightful and interesting; I hope my reviews and previews of movies, television shows and books are helpful, too. I like to write, so if nothing else, this is an outlet.
Other than the things I write about on here, I also like board games and photography. I like Saturday mornings, long drives and looking at beautiful landscapes. I love the CBC, our national broadcaster, and I have a life-long affinity with the paranormal (namely ghosts, and Bigfoot). Come on, we all have strange hobbies.
If you’d like to get in touch with me, leave a comment, or e-mail me using my first name, the at sign, and thecorch.com.
